This User Agreement ("Agreement") establishes the terms and conditions that govern the use of the DashMe mobile application and related financial services. By creating an account, applying for a loan, or otherwise accessing DashMe, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement.
1.Definitions
"We", "Us", or "Company" refers to Novalend Limited , a licensed money lender operating under the applicable laws of Nigeria.
"You" or "User" refers to any individual who downloads, installs, registers, or uses the DashMe application.
"Loan" refers to the credit facility made available by the Company to qualified Users.
2.Eligibility
To be eligible for the DashMe services, you must:
a.Be at least 18 years old.
b.Be a resident of Nigeria with a valid phone number.
c.Provide accurate identity information, including but not limited to NIN, date of birth, and face verification during KYC.
3.Account Registration and Verification
You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration. The Company reserves the right to request additional documents for identity verification, security, or risk assessment.
Providing false information may result in suspension or denial of services.
4.Loan Application and Approval
Loan approval is subject to:
a.Completion of identity verification.
b.Risk assessment using your device information and application data.
c.The Company’s internal lending policies.
Approval is not guaranteed. The Company reserves the right to decline applications without providing a specific reason.
5.Loan Terms
Each approved loan will specify:
a.Principal amount
b.Interest and applicable fees
c.Repayment date(s)
By accepting a loan, you agree to repay the full outstanding balance by the due date.
Failure to repay may affect your ability to borrow in the future.
6.Repayment
Repayment may be made through bank transfer or integrated payment channels. You authorize the Company to send repayment reminders via SMS, email, app notifications, and phone calls.
7.Late Payments and Collections
If repayment is overdue, the Company will:
a.Send reminder notifications through SMS, phone calls, and app messages.
b.Attempt to contact your provided emergency contacts only when you cannot be reached.Communication with emergency contacts is strictly limited to informing them that we are attempting to reach you.
The Company will not engage in harassment, threats, public shaming, defamation, or any form of unlawful debt collection.
8.User Obligations
You agree to:
a.Use the DashMe app in compliance with Nigerian law.
b.Repay your loan on or before the due date.
c.Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must not:
a.Create multiple accounts.
b.Use the service for any fraudulent or unlawful activity.
9.License and Restrictions
DashMe grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, reproduce, or distribute application content.
10.Limitation of Liability
The Company is not responsible for:
Losses caused by network failures, device issues, or third-party service outages.
The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the User in relation to the service.
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11.Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate your account if:
a.Fraud or misuse is suspected.
b.You violate the terms of this Agreement.
You may terminate your account by contacting support, provided all outstanding loan obligations are settled.
12.Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including applicable lending regulations.
13.Data Collection, Processing, and Storage
We collect and process personal data for identity verification, credit assessment, loan disbursement, repayment processing, and customer support.
Your data is stored and processed on secure cloud infrastructure within regions where our licensed service providers operate. All processing complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and applicable data security requirements.
We do not sell, rent, or publicly disclose your personal data. Data may be shared only with:
a. Licensed financial partners for payment processing;
b. Regulatory authorities when required by law;
c. Verified third-party service providers supporting identity verification and system security.
By using DashMe, you authorize the Company to use your verified identity information and device information strictly for loan assessment, disbursement, repayment reminders, and fraud prevention, in accordance with the DashMe Privacy Policy.
